A FAM trip was organized from 23rd<\/sup> to 26th<\/sup> October 2019 by the International Trade Center. There were altogether thirty delegates from Tour companies based in Yangon. During this four days FAM trip, we have learned a lot about the Dawei which is a great destination to boom in the near future. A huge thank to International Trade Center for developing community based tourism product in this region.<\/p>\n

We as the delegates, explored the town of Dawei following the vintage walking trail: learning all about the history from the colonial time and culture of Daweian. The town is the cleanest town in the country.<\/p>\n

We visited two communities during this trip. The first one is the Ka Lone Htar Community, where we meet the community of farmers living in a picturesque village in the lush Inland forests. Hiking into the orchards with local guides sharing their life knowledge. Learning natural forest remedies, enjoying swimming in the heart of nature, relaxing in the simple barefoot forest spa were the great and memorable experience for us.<\/p>\n

Another interesting fishermen community in Tizit with breathtaking sunset scene of beautiful natural unspoiled beach was also visited and would ever remain in our heart till our last breath. This community offer fascinating, fun insights into the lives of fisher families and hands-on fishing experience, searching for shellfishes and savoring delicious local food at the sunset dinner on the white sand beach.<\/p>\n
