However, below listed ones are the most visited onces as they are located conveniently and closely to the famous destination.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Taw Kyal Waterfall <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Forest star waterfall, in Burmese (Taw-kyal-waterfall) is located around one and a half hours drive from Pindaya or Kalaw. If you are visiting that area, then this is the one convenient for you to visit. The waterfall as well as blue lake have been looked after by the monastery nearby and they manage voluntarily to clean the lanes and make sure tourists are safe.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Dattawgyaik Waterfall (Pyin U Lwin)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Dattawgyaik waterfall is also known as Anisakan waterfalls, situated at an altitude of 1070 meters, around 67 km east of Mandalay city. A popular picnic spot which is located at the half way point between Mandalay and Pyin Oo Lwin, 15 miles north of Anisakan village, the plateau disappears into an impressive wooded amphitheatre, its sides ribboned with several waterfalls. The height of waterfall is about 122m and 90m depth. You will find here blue pools of cold water for peaceful refreshment and also many Buddhas, pagodas around. The amount of water is less in winter when it\u2019s best to take photos.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Dee Doke Waterfall (Pyin U Lwin)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Dee Doke is a set of waterfalls and caves that is 48km outside of Mandalay. If you want to go there you need to drive one hour from Mandalay. From Mandalay to Pyin Oo Lwin highway, near Ohn Chaw town use the road which leads to Ye Ywar Hydro Power Dam. There is only one highway to go there. Keep driving until you see the Sign \u201cTo Dee Doke Waterfall\u201d. The mineral-rich water in the pools have intense blue colour. It is the perfect place to take a refreshing diving into one of the upper pools. The pools get more beautiful, the further up the valley you go. At waterfalls you will see locals renting inflatables and selling drinks. At present there is no entrance fee.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Pwe Kauk Waterfalls <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Pwe Kauk Waterfalls is also well known as Hamsphire Falls in British times. It is located on the way to Lashio and not too far from Pyin Oo Lwin town. There are two waterfalls in Pwe Kauk where many people often swim or play in the shallow waters. Visitors can also buy local products such as wines, strawberry jams, fruits and flowers etc in a market besides waterfalls. A one hour hike from the falls is recommended to the natural caves of U Nyaung Gu where several Buddha statues are enshrined.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Maliwan Waterfall<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Maliwan is a village in a Kawthaung Township in southern Myanmar near the border with Thailand. The area is known for its hot springs and waterfall. It is about 25 miles (40km) away from Kawthaung and it takes 2 hours by car.
