BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BEYOND BOUNDARIES MYANMAR

1. BOOKING PROCEDURES & VALIDITY

All clients must book directly with Beyond Boundaries Co, Ltd. in Yangon, Myanmar by filling our online booking form or via email info.mm@beyondboundariesmyanmar.com or phone +95-9-421941121, 09-762049216. 

This terms and conditions are entitled for all the bookings: Tour Packages, Day Tours, Group Tours, Flight tickets, Bus tickets, Car and transport arrangement, Hot air balloons and accommodation arrangements, unless it is stated specifically. 

1.1. Please note your responsibilities to ensure that

When Booking

• You are aware that cancellations or booking amendment may be subject to additional charges.

• You read and understand our booking Terms & Conditions.

• You have adequate travel insurance.

• You check all booking details and any paperwork (email or hard copy) carefully to ensure that all details are correct.

Before Departure

• You have the necessary entry visas for all the countries you are visiting.

• Your current passport remains at least 6 months validity from the end date of your tour itinerary and return to your country of residence.

• You reconfirm your flights 72 hours prior to departure.

• You have received professional medical advice and any necessary vaccinations.

1.2. Child discount

Children under 12 years are generally granted 50% on adult price for a reduction of airfare varied upon airline, provided that they are accompanied by at least two full-paying adults and stays in the same room. But if staying on an extra bed, 70% of adult price will be charged.

1.3. Validity:

Rates are quoted on net basic in US Dollar and valid according to the date on the printed tariffs, quotation, invoice etc. We guarantee that the prices or rates quoted are correct at the time of issuance, but are subject to change in line with market, tax, or currency fluctuation. Beyond Boundaries Co, Ltd. reserves the right to change with or without prior notice.

 

2. DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT

A booking will be processed once a deposit is received. All bookings are accepted on a request only basis and are based on the itinerary and booking details sent to by your consultant - it is your responsibility to check these details carefully and advise us of any errors immediately. In certain circumstances there can be a charge for amending any errors (i.e. an incorrectly spelt name on an issued airline ticket or hotel room type or trip routing adjustment).

Receipt of a completed booking form does not imply availability of any holiday. Whilst your deposit secures your reservation with us, it does not guarantee the availability of any hotels or land or water transport and tour services. Your holiday cost can change due to external influences, out of our control, such as hotel availability, exchange rates, fuel surcharges and airlines changing or cancelling services.

Final costs are only guaranteed once all services have been confirmed and in the case of flights, all airline tickets have been secured or issued.

2.1. Payment schedule

For complete tour package, 30% deposit of the total amount must be made to confirm the services according to your itinerary. The remaining balance payment must be made by 15 days prior to your departure date or due upon your arrival to our destination. Payment to be made as per arrangement, and Beyond Boundaries Co, Ltd reserves the right to cancel reservations unless the payment is made prior to the client’s arrival. 

For Day Tours and breakdown services for the amount under or equivalent USD 500 and day tour bookings, you will need to make full payment upon confirmation and latest by 3 days ahead of the service. 

2.2. Payment by Credit Card

Kindly make deposit/payment via our secured online payment. We accept Visa Card and Master Card.

Note: When you pay by Credit Card, please add 5% of processing fee.

2.3. Bank Transfer

Our consultant will advise you at the time of booking.

 

3. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Should you need to cancel your holiday once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately advise us in writing sent to us via email. The following cancellation charges will be applied:

• More than 30 days prior to departure: The total of deposit paid to us (30% of the Tour value).

• 21 - 29 days prior to departure: 50% on total value of the trip charged, due to hotel charges for no-shows and organizing fees.

• 15 - 20 days prior to departure: 70% on total charged.

• 5 - 14 days prior to departure: 90% on total charged.

• Less than 5 days prior to departure: 100% on total charged.

• No-Show: 100% on total charged.

Note that refunds, where applicable, will only be for the price of the purchase itself; we are unable to issue refunds on the credit card transaction fee.

Day Tours and breakdown services booked for the amount under or equivalent USD 500,-, 80% of the amount after deducting the bank transaction fees will be refunded if cancelled within 3 days ahead of the service date. Cruise, Balloons and Flights etc may also apply different terms by the original service provider. 

3.1. Cancellation of domestic or international flights

If the cancellation occurs after a deposit was paid to the Airlines, a cancellation fees, of 25 – 40 % of the airfare for the domestic flight and 30 – 50% for the international flight, is required (depend highly on the policy of the Airlines).

3.2. Unused services

No refunds or exchanges can be made with respect to accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, included in the tour price, but not utilized by the tour members.

3.3. Cancellation or modification by us

Every effort will be made to operate all tours as advertised but it must be remembered that our tours are planned in advance and due to factors outside our control it may be necessary to use alternative accommodation and services in some instances. We therefore reserve the right to modify or cancel any tour, accommodation or arrangement at any time. We will notify you as soon as possible of any changes. In the event of any modification or cancellation we will, if possible, arrange on your behalf three alternatives:

(a) Services of an equivalent or similar standard, if available;

(b) Services of a lower standard together with a refund of the difference in price; or

(c) Cancellation with a full refund of all money paid.

 

4. GROUP POLICY

Group reservations should be made at least three months ahead of the intended tour start. Full details of clients’ together with rooming list should be provided within three weeks prior to the arrival. If any restricted area visit required permission from authority, such information should be provided at least one month prior to the trip.

 

5. RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITIES

Beyond Boundaries Co, Ltd. acts as the mediator for the person in regard to travel and assumes no liability for any losses or additional expenses due to accident, delay, sickness, weather, political situation or other cause beyond its control. Beyond Boundaries Co, Ltd. will do its best to conduct the tour as per agreement. It also reserves the right to modify or reverse the original program in the interest of the clients and may substitute transportation with any other means of transportation when necessary due to any circumstances beyond its control. Beyond Boundaries Co, Ltd. will make every reasonable effort to assist in case of any misadventure. Beyond Boundaries Co, Ltd. advises all travelers and tour operators to ensure that appropriate medical coverage is in place, if medical care and evacuation are needed. In case of any such circumstances, additional costs shall be borne by the tourist. Participation in the tour implies the person’s agreement to the above conditions.

 

6. CLAIMS

All disputes, claims and litigation regarding the services shall first be settled by way of negotiation and mutual understanding. In the event that such efforts fail, disputes, claim or litigation shall be finally settled by arbitration in the Union of Myanmar. All claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days after the end of the services.

 

7. GROUND ARRANGEMENTS

Accommodation and Ground Transportation are provided as indicated on the confirmation. The condition, services and the facilities of the hotels are as expressed by the hotel. If there should be any dissatisfaction during your stay, the hotel takes full responsibilities for the inconvenience. Daily breakfast, service charges and taxes at hotels are normally inclusive unless otherwise indicated.

We utilize all vehicles equipped with air-conditioning. However, due to the standard of infrastructure and the quality of petrol (gasoline) as usual in most of the developing countries the system may not function properly.  We will provide the best available alternative where the facilities do not exist.

 

8. FLIGHTS

Unless otherwise stated, the routing on your air ticket cannot be changed once booked. Please note that the times of air departures are estimates only. These times may be affected by operational difficulties such as weather conditions. Flight times may be subject to change and the latest available times will appear on your final itinerary. Please note that direct flights can have a scheduled stop en route and all flights (indirect and direct) can be operated by another carrier (code-share). Most airlines reserve the right to alter their schedule, destination airport and/or type of aircraft. We will not make alternative travel arrangements if there is a delay at the outbound or inbound points of departure.
